SecondStar to the Left

Greeting by chance or purpose you have arrived at Mr. Marquette's home page. As most folk who grew up during the 60s I've had a wide number of interests that luckily have allow me to be gamefully employed at the interjection of three of them. I love to tell stories, I have an artistic temperament, and I have a deep interest in how computer working. Thus I teacher compute applications at the local community college. But before I get too far ahead of myself let me set down some biographic information first so you can gage just how much trouble you have got yourself into..

I'm a brat, that is for those not familiar will all things military, I was born in a Naval hospital and spent the first years of my life on Naval bases. At the end of my father duty he return to his and my mom's home Chicago. Had things worked out a little differently we could have ended up in San Diego in which case I would had ended up a quite different person. I was educated by the good sisters of mercy and was preparing to go to seminary when fate again chose a different path. A clerical error placed be in public high school and that is where I met Robin.

So I fell in love in the summer of 69 and never became Father Tom. What I did become is a Teacher, a Husband, and a Grand Inquisitor. Lets start with the last. For the last two years I have been a member of the county Grand Jury. I ask questions and try to find out who has been naughty and who's been nice. If all goes well in the next few weeks our jury may just make Californian history, but right now that's a secret. I sort of see my job as Menckenistic: afflict the comfortable and comfort the afflicted. The job pays little but you work with some of the finest people in county.

I have been married for 20 years. We met during an EST like workshop ( they let you pee ) it was the 80s. Gail finish her nursing degree and went on to get a masters in nursing. She currently holds up the sky at the local clinic We moved from San Jose bought land and built a house. Two years ago we burnt the mortgage and spend our year shuttling between Lake Co and Vancouver. In 2012 I will celebrate 20 years of service to the Yuba Community College district. This year I have risen to the senior part time instructor in the department. Next Page
